Professional DV
1/4-inch Digital Videocassette (Vapor-Deposited Tape)

Maxell specially developed Professional DV videotape for Mini DV and DV systems for professional use. With almost seven times the recording density of VHS tape, Maxell Professional DV is durable enough to withstand the demands of high-speed playback, editing and rewinding.

High picture quality
Maxell created Multipuretron vapor-deposited film to make this videotape capable of handling even higher levels of output than Maxell consumer DV videotape.

Durability
The vapor-deposited recording surface is protected by a diamond- like carbon lattice to maintain high recording quality under various environmental conditions.
Maxell Professional DV is particularly excellent in terms of durability and reliability, resisting clogging and providing stable still image playback, even under conditions of repetitive use.

Low head wear
A layer of lubricant on Maxell Professional DV videotape extends head life and prevents head clogs under various operating conditions.

Unique cassette case design
The cassette is housed in a specially designed PP storage case that effectively resists dust, heat and shocks.
